Print one, right the first time

The Canary enclosures are engineered to print cleanly in PETG — flat, no supports, fits baked into the model. This is the checklist that keeps you from learning the gotchas the hard way. Work top to bottom; each stage has a gate you shouldn't cross until it's green. Your ticks are saved in this browser — close it mid-print, come back, pick up where you left off.

The numbers that matter

Starting points for a 0.4 mm nozzle. Dial to your filament and printer — the exact reasoning is in the guides below.

Which material? PETG is the default — tough, easy, great indoors and under an eave. ASA for full sun, heat and UV (print it hotter, enclosed, low fan). PC only for vandal-prone or extreme-heat spots that need more than ASA — and only with an enclosed printer: it warps on big flat parts, needs the fit coupon re-run, and prefers a PC blend. PLA is bench/fit-check only — it creeps and dies in a hot car. Gaskets and the field-case boot stay TPU regardless. Why, in detail →
